Why oh why are we always nagging you to brush, floss and rinse?

I thought I’d start off my very first post with the basics, so here we go!!!

How do we go about doing this?  Yes, you guessed it, brushing your teeth at least twice a day, followed by rinsing with 4 tsp ( 20 ml) of mouth wash for 30 seconds and  flossing once a day.

We want you to succeed, so here are a few tips to make it easier:

  • Brush twice a day, morning and night for 2 min – it seems like a long time, but it’s worth it.  If you have an electric toothbrush it’s easy it already has a 2 minute timer, if not, use your phone, you’re probably already using it to check for messages so set a timer too!
  • Rinse with mouthwash for 30 seconds. Yup, set a timer or sing happy birthday twice,
  • Floss once a day. It doesn’t have to be in the bathroom, I do it in front of the TV or computer.  Leave the floss container by the remote control and start flossing as soon as you turn the TV on.  Don’t forget to clean up the floss after, otherwise it may drive your spouse crazy  (I know it drives mine crazy)

 

It’s just that easy.
